Lisa Lovell
Lisa Lovell is a Psychotherapist and Counsellor, specialising in complex trauma and strengthening family relationships. She is also a yoga teacher, integrating mindfulness and body based therapies in her sessions.
With 25 years of community welfare and mental health experience, Lisa supports young people and families to transform and strengthen their relationship with themselves and others.
Lisa addresses the underlying cause of conflict and stress caused by traumatic experiences such family violence, separation, transition periods and miscommunication. She helps to repair the relationship between couples and families by healing from their past traumas and by shifting the toxic patterns of behaviours to more functional behaviours and build inate resilience to address adversities.
As a practitioner of yoga and meditation for the past 20 years, Lisa incorporates different methods of mindful breathing and body awareness. She applies these creative methods to help build strong bonds and attachments. Through a fully guided session, she creates space for participants to develop awareness of their breathe, attune to their body, and develop a sense of safety within their environment.
