As well as coaching clients, I am fortunate to run weekly yoga and meditation classes at our wellbeing studio!
I teach a variety of styles of yoga (yes there are many!) , namely Hatha yoga. Hatha yoga develops the union of the mind and body (the true meaning of the word yoga) through a sequence of breath work (pranayam), physical postures (asanas) and meditation practise. Perfect for creating a greater sense of self awareness and cultivating self love and love for others.
Yoga is a practise which has been around for a very very long time (over 5000 years!). It is a comprehensive practise, derived from eastern philosophy, which has great benefits for both your mental and physical health and welbeing.
Nothing is more rewarding than building a close knit community of families, men and women, who come into our studio on a weekly basis to practise their ability strengthening their mind and body.
You donβt have to be perfect at anything in life- least of all, to strike the perfect yoga pose. In face it is in the process of growth, stretching beyond your limits metaphorically as well as physically (over time), which is where the real union of mind and body occurs.
